EMMY NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2008


"John Adams", which will choose the 23 awards at the gala to be held on September 21 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles stands as the most nominated production.

The comedy "30 Rock" and drama "Mad Men" were the most nominated series for this year's Emmy Awards, with a total of 17 and 16 nominations, respectively, according to the list announced Thursday by the Academy of Arts Television and Sciences. "30 Rock", which won the award for best comedy in 2007, will try to repeat success against four other candidates: "The Office", "Two and a Half Men" "Entourage (Entourage)" and "Larry David".
