What grew eating?
Esai : Sandwiches with lots of mayonnaise. I was a poor 'kid', born in Brooklyn. While waiting for my mother to come home from work I prepared a 'Wonder Bread' the folded in half and he hit a good bite from the center. I had a diet primarily Caribbean rice beans, chicken, stew and meat. For the most part, now I try to make up for all that! Sprague
: I'm from Manchester, Mass., so strong was my lobster, lobster and more lobster! Plenty of fish in short, in summer we went fishing a lot. But my mother was a very healthy, eat lots of chicken, broccoli and rice.
How is your relationship with food before and now?
Esai : For 10 years I have been connecting and disconnecting, reconnecting and so had seasons in which he ate organic food and then left to return soon after them. I go to New York and Puerto Rico and I have a few weeks of eating dangerously, I think I earn about 5 Kilos, then return to a California and try to maintain the ecological, raw if possible only sushi and salads'm an old meat-eater. I am considering whether to mount a natural restaurant. Sprague
: I more or less going with the same food groups that feed my mother since childhood.
Do you often play sports? What?
Esai : Recently I discovered tennis. I play for three or four hours, I think a great sport because you use the whole body in it. Other than that, swimming well, I have a pool. They also tend to go on a trip to Runyon Canyon. Sprague
: Six days a week I do pilates, yoga and spinning. I also like hiking.
How is breakfast, lunch and healthy dinner for you?
Esai : Today for breakfast I had a glass of orange, carrot and celery juice and then oatmeal with goji berries and bananas. Other times, I have breakfast cereal product 19, with a lot of vitamins in it, so when I'm traveling and I need some energy. Lunch could be coleslaw or kale raw fruit pies. The crust is made of dates and walnuts and coconut, then a layer of sliced thinly sliced mango, bananas and pineapples, or apples, strawberries and kiwis. For dinner, eat tons of quinoa or buckwheat, spinach or whole wheat pasta. Sprague
: I usually eat six times a day, small meals. For breakfast, an egg and a corn tortilla, salsa and cilantro, and some ham. For the appetizer, I'll have an apple or a yogurt. For lunch I have salad for dinner protein and vegetables usually usually steamed and chicken or fish.
Is it hard to find organic food?
Esai : Here in California, is easier. It's a lifestyle. You can go to agricultural markets, and every day there is one somewhere in the city. If you want to live longer and, more importantly, better, better quality of life then becomes a little effort. Sprague
: When I can afford it, I'm very involved in organic food and I love going to restaurants that use organic products and such. But I think it is a shame for all that, unfortunately, the ecological are often very expensive, so you have to do what we can.
Do you often cook?
Esai : I am the laziest person. I do not usually cook at home, I prefer to feel like eating.
Sprague: Well, I'm learning slowly. The other night I prepare for my best friend, chicken with garlic sauce, rice and steamed vegetables. It was great!
